“And should I (God) not pity Nineveh, that great city, in which are more than one hundred and twenty thousand persons who cannot discern between their right hand and their left—and much livestock?”

Jonah 4:11

Jonah lamented because he did not see the great city of Nineveh being destroyed. The inhabitants broke all of God’s commandments, including the most important one, “You shall love your neighbour as yourself” (Matthew 22:39, Leviticus 19:18), yet God forgave them when they showed repentance. Even their livestock was spared from God’s judgment.

Look at the sad state of our nation's moral values; are they not the reflection of the moral status of the city of Nineveh, which could not discern between their right and left? Moral relativism asserts that morality is not based on any absolute standard. Rather, ethical “truths” depend on variables such as the situation, culture, one’s feelings, etc.

There is no absolute of what is right and what is wrong. The truth is a lie, and a lie is a truth (Romans 1:25). The acronym for the LGBTQQIP2SAA stands for sin. Then, there is the Woke ideology or culture. I did a Google search and found so many definitions from many sources. From a Christian point of view, the Woke ideology is the extreme opposite of God's ideology. The Woke culture is a culture without God in the picture that attacks all moral values of all cultures, traditions, and religions from all races and nationalities, targeting children.

John Hilton-O'Brien, Parents for Choice in Education, in a newsletter, expressed his concern:

“You’ve watched as ideologies such as Critical Race Theory and Gender Theory have transferred power from parents to elites. Many school boards, controlled by “woke” elites, have policies that demand teachers keep secrets about your children from you. Their vision is a monolithic system where the unions take your tax dollars and teach your children whatever they want. (http://www.parentchoice.ca/)”

The Woke culture is a manmade invention to hide the origin of gender. Since God does not exist, sex gender continues to evolve even if it has to cheat nature by performing surgery to reach that transformation. The majority of the Canadian population cannot discern between their right hand and their left. And who is suffering for their indifference? The children and the adolescents are. Incredibly sad. Parents are divided into two groups: those who agree and support the woke and the LGBTQQIP2SAA movement and those who are against it. All government establishments enforce this woke movement, including the union. Many parents stay silent for fear of reprisal and of having their children taken away. Those who disagree are Christian parents and secular parents of many different nationalities with similar Christian moral values. These parents are helpless in the fight to protect their children against the legislated power of the government. However, there are some sick and wicked parent who would decide to proceed with a sex change on their child.

Then, there are the thousands of unrestricted abortions performed in Canada. Coming soon in 2023, anyone for any reason will be able to receive suicide assistance on demand, with no questions asked. Where is humanity? And why does God allow it? For the reason given to Jonah, for the sake of millions upon millions of people who cannot discern between their right hand and their left, God has extended His mercy and grace on Canadians as He did to the population of Nineveh. Is it not the role of the churches to expose the unfruitful works of darkness (Ephesians 5:11)?

"But all things that are exposed are made manifest by the light, for whatever makes manifest is light," Ephesians 5:13

Canada's Sad State of Democracy

“In those days there was no king in Israel; everyone did what was right in his own eyes,” Judges 17:6.

Nowadays, there is no king in Canada; everyone is doing what is right in his own eyes. Canada is a corporation, like all other nations. Yes, there are many kings worldwide, but they and their kingdoms are held captive by The Bankers. In as much the Romanists held captive the European kings, so did The Banker hold hostage all the world's kings. Canada is considered a democratic country where the people elect their representatives. As representatives, they are fulfilling the people's will according to what is right in their own eyes. The people will blindly continue to elect them. However, when it became obvious that the representative no longer acted according to their demand, the population shifted their vote to the opposition party to represent them. Canada does not have a nationalist party to represent its interests. If there were, again, the representative would be fulfilling the people's will according to what is right in their own eyes. Without a righteous king, the citizens of this country will continue to sin with no restriction. Why? Because there is no fear of the Lord since God does not exist according to the scientific narrative.

The northern tribes of Israel lived the consequences of living according to what was right in their own eyes. They went into captivity into all the world, never to return.

“For now they say, “We have no king Because we did not fear the Lord. And as for a king, what would he do for us?” Hosea 10:3

So, what should the Canadian churches do? Wait for thy kingdom to come? Pray for the Rapture to come to deliver us from evil and God’s wrath. Will the churches run away like Jonah in the opposite direction of their calling? Hide from God?

Look around. There are so many parents pulling their children out of school for homeschooling. So many parents are crying out to God. Yet the churches are silent. Many on social media denounce the wrong and the evil but have no solution. Hundreds of organizations are taking action to defend their rights, but it is futile without a General to coordinate the battle. The situation in Canada is literally like a First World War battle in the trenches, losing ground with thousands of children as casualties.

I am saddened to see that we (the Canadians) are spending time, energy, resources, and money on lawyers defending our rights according to our Constitution while the government easily adds new, unlawful, and unjustified restrictions to fulfill the global agenda. Even the oppositions play the Deceptive Ruse - Thesis, Antithesis, Synthesis.

“O Lord, God of my salvation, I have cried out day and night before You. Let my prayer come before You; Incline Your ear to my cry,” Psalm 88:1-2

Today, our freedoms and parental sovereignty over our children have been taken away because we took civil liberty for granted. We let this freedom go astray to a point where many take this liberty to sin evermore. Even if you want to protest publicly, the government of Ontario passed Anti-Protest Law Bill 100, enacted in secret as Chapter 10 of the Statutes of Ontario, 2022[1].

Do you remember Bill 67, the infamous ‘Critical Race Theory’ bill? The bill Jordan Peterson famously denounced as vile and evil indoctrination? It’s back and being passed right now with no opposition!

December 12, 2022 Newsletter from the Ontario Party:

"The original Bill 67 died when the legislature convened for the June election.

Many had hoped that would be the end of trying to insert Critical Race Theory into our schools.

Unsurprisingly, however, the NDP has brought the same bill back as Bill 16, the “Racial Equity in the Education System Act”.

The bill has already passed the first reading with the support of Doug Ford and his PCs.

They were hoping they could quietly pass it without any pushback.

What more does Ford have to do to prove he is not a conservative and does not represent conservative values?"

Who would die for a sinful nation that pollutes the minds of our Christian and non-Christian children by teaching the woke ideology and lifestyle behaviours in our school that go against the parents will? Who would die for a sinful nation that allows murdering unborn babies for the sake of convenience? Who would die for the leaders of a country who chose to serve the interest of The United Nations, the House of Rothschild, the Cabal, selling out the sovereignty of our national economy - for the creation of a New Word in Dis-order? WHO?

Jesus would… He already had. He has risen and is now sitting on the right-hand side of the Father.

Let us coordinate our battle on a common front, defending our parental sovereignty over our children first. Challenge them on all levels of government. I think that is your priority. Seek God. Obey His commandments. To the local churches, speak the truth without fear. Defend the helpless parent, whether they are Christians or not, for the sake of the children.

“He will bring justice to the poor of the people; He will save the children of the needy, And will break in pieces the oppressor,”

Psalm 72:4

“Greater love has no one than this than to lay down one’s life for his friends, (children)”

John 15:13

"Defend the poor and fatherless;

Do justice to the afflicted and needy," Psalm 82:3

Do not despair. There is hope.

“And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are the called according to His purpose,” Romans 8:28

The Rules of Good Stewardship - True Riches - Part Three

Print Friendly and PDF

Part 3

Purpose of Your Sanctification, (1 Thess 4:3)

“What You Need to Know About the Purpose of Your Sanctification”

You must know who you are in Christ. Didn't you know that you are His image-bearer, created in His image (Genesis 1:26)? Once you accept Jesus as your Lord, you receive eternal life. But then what? You are aware of the purposes of your calling.  You are part of His destiny.

“And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are the called according to His purpose.  For whom He foreknew, He also predestined to be conformed to the image of His Son, that He might be the firstborn among many brethren,” Romans 8:28-29

Called according to His purpose

"Are you not described as being called into the light that shines in the darkness?" (1 Peter 2:9)?

“Then Jesus said to them, “A little while longer, the light is with you. Walk while you have the light, lest darkness overtake you; he who walks in darkness does not know where he is going,” John 12:35

Therefore, it is not a secret. You should know where you are going from knowing where you come from. We need to know who we are to motivate us and the purpose of our fellowship; where can we find the courage and the determination to face the everyday life challenges of this world? After all, didn’t God instruct us to be holy as He is Holy? (Lev 19:2).

"He who called you is holy, you also be holy in all your conduct, because it is written,“Be holy, for I am holy.” 1 Pet 1:15-16

Immediately after Jesus’ teaching to His disciples on the parable of the lost son mentioned in (Luke 15:11), He went on teaching the parable of the unjust steward. I believe the order Jesus used to link the two parables was significant. At the end of the parable of the lost son, the older brother is angry toward his younger brother, who returns after spending his inheritance on usury. What upset him most was that he found his father delighted and thankful for his brother’s return by preparing a great and magnificent feast to celebrate. Is that the end of Jesus' teaching? Not exactly; we learned that the younger son would not be reinstated at the same level of stewardship to his father's domain as his older brother.

“And he (the father) said to him (the older son), ‘Son, you are always with me, and all that I have is yours. It was right that we should make merry and be glad, for your brother was dead and is alive again, and was lost and is found,” Luke 15:31-32.

“All that I have is yours,” meaning that the older son owns his father’s entire domain. His younger brother would receive none of his father's inheritance.

Many Christians assume God rewards His children equally since He loves us equally. This is different! Yes, God is a God of justice and love. God is NOT a socialist or a communist. There is no partiality with Him (Eph. 6:9). For example, “If anyone will not work, neither shall he eat, but should work in quietness and eat their own bread” (2 Thess 3:10, 12).

Soon after our resurrection (1 Thess 4:16), we (the believers in Christ's resurrection) will all be judged for the choices made throughout our Christian life, the good works made for our Lord, and the works that we assumed were God’s will.  We’re all going to be judged for rewards or disapproval—all accordingly (Acts 10:42, 2 Tim 4:1).

“and when the Chief Shepherd appears, you will receive the crown of glory that does not fade away,” 1 Pet 5:4

If you are part of the resurrection of the saints, of those who had heard the testimony of the gospel and believed it – those who sleep or are alive at His return (1 Thess 4:14, 5:10), you will take part of the Bema seat of judgement, (Rom 14:10, 2 Cor 5:9-10). Standing before our Lord, the books will be opened for each individual, and Jesus will review our life of service for Him. Reassure yourself that this will not be a review of our sinful behaviours. Our sins have been forgiven, forgotten, and remembered no more (Heb. 8:12). However, our disobedience hindered our stewardship and reward.

This judgment is not to be compared with the end-time judgment when all unbelievers will be standing at our Lord's throne (Rev 7:9). All their sins will be reviewed - all their sinful conduct. Understandably, they will not be judged because they’ve sinned but rather because of their unbelief. They will view the list of sins accumulated throughout their life only to realize that all their sins could have been forgiven if only they had believed and accepted Jesus as their redeemer and Lord, who took away the sins of the whole world, theirs including, (1 John 2:2). Sad.

Rewards - Five Crowns

“If anyone serves Me, let him follow Me; and where I am, there My servant will be also. If anyone serves Me, him My Father will honor,”John 12:26

We will be honoured with rewards. Five crowns identify these rewards in total:

  1. Everlasting Crown (Victory) (1 Cor 9:24-27) - overcoming man's sinful nature through our Lord Jesus
  2. Crown of the Soul Winner (Phil 4:1 and 1 Thess 2:19-20) - reaching out - sharing the gospel (Matt 28:19)
  3. Crown of Righteousness (2 Tim 4:8) - longing for Jesus’ return
  4. Crown of Life (James 1:12, Rev 2:10) - enduring through trials - even to death
  5. Crown of Glory (1 Pet 5:4) - ministering to God’s people

These crowns are awarded to the saints at the Bema Seat of judgment, which immediately followed the return of our Redeemer for the saints, known as an event called the rapture. I know some of you will stop reading here, condemning and accusing me of heresies for believing in the rapture, discrediting me from the rest of the content. Let me be clear: "Expecting the return of our Lord Jesus before, during or at the end of Jacob’s trouble, known as the great tribulation, is not a cause of losing our salvation.” We are saved by believing in our Lord and His resurrection (Rom 10:9). We are not saved by believing in a certain time of His return. Yes, we must be watchful for his return, but that doesn’t save us. Even the Luciferians do the same.

Here is the description of one of these crowns given by God’s righteous judgment:

The crown of righteousness

“Finally, there is laid up for me the crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous Judge, will give to me on that Day, and not to me only but also to all who have loved His appearing,” 2 Tim 4:8.

This special crown of righteousness that Paul is describing is for those who are anticipating Jesus’ return. They are the ones who depend completely on acts of mercy and grace and understand that they will never measure up. Their desire is for the day when they would no longer sin (Jn 12:25) and desire for the day when Jesus will return to take us out of this sinful world and our sinful bodies. The crown of righteousness is for those disgusted with their sinful nature and world. Jesus has overcome the world (Jn 16:33). As for us, our overcoming happens with Christ through faith (1 Corinthians 15:52, 1 Peter 1:4).

“For whatever is born of God overcomes the world. And this is the victory that has overcome the world, our faith. Who is he who overcomes the world, but he who believes that Jesus is the Son of God? 1 John 5:4-5

This group of believers is watchful for the signs of His return. They pray diligently for His soon return, “Let Thy Kingdom Come,” deliver us from evil (the lies and the deceptions). If you are not looking forward to the day that you will no longer sin and don't desire His kingdom to come, this crown will not be your reward. Additionally, you will be surprised at Jesus' appearance if you are not watchful for His return.

“But you, brothers and sisters, are not in darkness so that this day should surprise you like a thief." 1 Thess 5:4.

The Rules of Good Stewardship - True Riches - Part Two

 Part 2

Introduction

A lesson from the past ignored

Have we learned anything from the example of God’s people, Israel?  The theme throughout the Book of Judges was “Failure through compromise,” and the theme found in the Book of Joshua was “Victory through faith.”

How many books have been written, commentaries were blogged, and sermons have been preached about faith? Is the Church any better than historical Israel when it comes to being in obedience to His commandments? The Church has its moments of victory and its moments of failure. One generation who has forgotten what it took to be in fellowship with God proceeded by a generation crying out to God to intervene. Is this where the Church of this era is now confused, divided, and in despair? Many American and Canadian Christians are crying out to God for a revival. You wouldn’t believe how many stay-at-home believers refuse to be part of an assembly of the saints. Why? Many felt unwelcome (Hebrews 10:25). Some were rejected because they were smokers, and some because they had a criminal record. Really? Are we inviting only sinless candidates? Through COVID-19, haven’t the churchgoers tasted what it is like to be separated from the assembly of the church?

Revival will not come unless we are willing to welcome sinners – to leave aside our prejudice. If we don’t, we are no better than the children of Jacob, Israel, before their deportation to Babylon. Inasmuch God warned Israel and Judah to return to Him and to His covenant to be a light for the surrounding nations, Jesus, through the Apostle John, wrote to North America’s Church to return as a good and faithful steward of His Word, fulfilling His commission, or else, it will be given to another nation.

"For we ourselves were also once foolish, disobedient, deceived, serving various lusts and pleasures, living in malice and envy, hateful and hating one another,"  Titus 3:3

“Remember therefore from where you have fallen; repent and do the first works, or else I will come to you quickly and remove your lampstand from its place—unless you repent,” Revelation 2:5

The Canadian and American Christian Church is not Israel. We do not replace God’s people just because the Jewish authority rejected Jesus. We live under a new covenant (Mark 14:24) under the dispensation of grace (Eph 3:2). We are bondservants by the same rules of stewardship as the Israelites.

The present Canadian multicultural society, with its diversity of cultures and religions, reflects the same characteristics that existed during the time of Imperialist Rome and Autocratic Babylon.  It has degenerated to where all traditions, cultures, systems of beliefs, religions, and moral values of all nationalities are threatened by Cultural Marxism.
Nothing is new under the sun (Eccl 1:9).

In the Book of Judges, soon after the settlement of each Israelite tribe in their assigned territory, Israel quickly drifted away from God's covenant. In those days, there were no kings in Israel, and every man did what was right in his eyes (Judges 17:6). Doesn’t that also reflect the North American Corporate Christian Churches? Having good intentions, each congregation identifies itself with its personalized statement of belief - every church denomination is doing what is right in its own eyes, and so is each Christian. Aren't we far from being united in understanding all things in Christ (Eph 4:13)? So many seek a church that teaches the word of God without compromise.

Canada and America were once strong Judeo-Christian influences; it is no more. The Church has lost its salt flavour, the light on the lampstand has extinguished, and the lampstand will soon be relocated (Rev 2:5). If the Church doesn’t repent by obeying Christ Our Lord’s instructions, God will go elsewhere to do His work. It will leave the community desolate of His presence and His word.  It happened with Israel, and it also happened with the city of Ephesus (Rev 2:5). Our modern churches are not exempt.

"Behold, the days are coming,” says the Lord God,
"That I will send a famine on the land,
Not a famine of bread,
Nor a thirst for water,
But of hearing the words of the Lord," Amos 8:11
The Canadian Churches failed the test.

In the Book of Judges 3:4, God allowed five lords of the Philistine to be used as a thorn in the side of the children of Israel (chapter 2:3).  The Canaanites, the Sidonians, the Hivites, Perizzites, and the Jebusites (verse 5).  Verse 4 explains how they tested Israel.  Their gods would be used as a snare (Judges 2:2). The snare was used to find out whether they would obey the commandments of God (Judges 3:4), in particular, “You shall have no other gods before me” (Exodus 20:3-5). The consequences of being entangled in the snare, Israel's moral and spiritual disobedience, would lead to their deportation.

What about Canadian Christians? Have we not been entrapped into the federal Cultural Marxism policies - an autocratic snare, and anti-Christian snare, dictating what ought to be taught to our children, overruling the parents' cultural and religious practices and beliefs, to unite all cultures, all religious faith unto one philosophy, one ideology, one religion under the ruse of false faith indoctrination and Darwinism evolutionary rhetoric?  We live in a so-called ‘Extreme Bias Cultural Marxism and in an Extreme Bias Multi-Gender’ nation.

We, Christians, dropped our guard and allowed the Canadian federal and provincial leaders to dictate what we are to accept culturally. Both levels of government became autocratic to the core, under the umbrella of political correctness, accusing Christians of intolerance and racism when Christians voiced their concern.

Freedom of Worship vs. Freedom of Religion

“Now, are we to shine our light within the four walls of the church building only?  Nonsense.”

At the opening and closing prayers, I heard pastors thank God for the freedom to worship, unaware that God has given them much more than a simple right to worship in Canada. I believe God wrote the Constitution on His behalf - for His purpose, not ours. Isn’t it also for the United States of America with its Bill of Rights? He gave us, not the government, the freedom of religion. The Constitution was founded upon the principles that recognize the supremacy of God and the rule of law. Not any gods, but the Christian God – the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob. God, The Creator who so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son (Jesus), that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life (Jn 3:16).

What is the difference between freedom of worship and freedom of religion?  The difference is that freedom of worship restricts a Christian’s sphere of influence by living according to their beliefs, ethics, and moral standard values within the wall of a building. In contrast, the freedom of religion gives Christians the freedom to carry their right to beliefs, ethics, and moral standard values everywhere in our society.   It is our civil right. Have you not noticed how often we hear from the secular to keep our religion at church?  It is a constant attack on our rights. Even Christians among themselves demanded not to mix religion with politics… go figure.

We have the fundamental right to peaceful assembly in a church environment and freedom of religion in a social environment, especially in our school.

“True and pure diversity in a multicultural society is to allow each parent to teach their children their religious beliefs, their values according to their culture and tradition, and to teach their sexual moral standard and behaviour without prejudice and interference from any level of government. Isn't that what the Charter of Rights and Freedom is about?”

The Snare (commentary)

We are incapable of untangling ourselves from the snare unless we Christians first repent and live by our personal faith, trusting in the Word. Institutions and the government will fail, but God will never, never fail us.

“For it is impossible for those who were once enlightened, and have tasted the heavenly gift, and have become partakers of the Holy Spirit, and have tasted the good word of God and the powers of the age to come, if they fall away, to renew them again to repentance, since they crucify again for themselves the Son of God and put Him to an open shame.

For the earth which drinks in the rain that often comes upon it, and bears herbs useful for those by whom it is cultivated, receives blessing from God; but if it bears thorns and briers, it is rejected and near to being cursed, whose end is to be burned,” Hebrews 6:4-8

Haven't we been tested, and are we still? Many Christians, including me, are going through difficult trials. Our faith is being tested.

"For I consider that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory which shall be revealed in us," Romans 8:18

"And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are the called according to His purpose," Romans 8:28
