Mystery In The Trinity Revealed In A Molecule Of Water (H²O)

Print Friendly and PDF

Whoever desires, let him take the water of life freely,
Revelation 22:17

Water was the first element mentioned in the book of Genesis.  Earth initiated as many blobs of water, Gen 1:2.  The surrounding was void, dark and deep.  Imaging, there was nothing, empty space, dark, and void of physical matter.  Then there are waters, huge mass of waters.  There is no mention of when it was created.  It just was.

The Spirit of God hovered over the face of the waters.  No Big Bang, no mass explosion, no expansion of the universe, no gas, no particles that took trillions of years to come together to creates planets, suns, solar systems, galaxies and finally the universe.  There was no volcano, no poisonous gas, no wild electrical storm to form the planet earth and eventually all living things…just waters. (Image source:Paul Gitto)

What a contrast between The Big Bang Theory and the description of God’s creation.  The Word created all things.  It was said then it was done, John 1:1-5.  All things created in six days.  Why six days?  That is a symbolic.  It is part of revealing God’s plan to whoever seeks God.

In Simplicity in the Gospel, my main goal is to explain God’s Word as simple as possible by taking Jesus by His Word.  In reading the Bible I focus in reasoning not through the eyes of the world but by accepting His words literally.  I use analogy to clarify a difficult subject matter, compare to Jesus who hide understanding.  Jesus used symbols, parables, and metaphors.  Why is that?  The answer is because Jesus reveals only to those who love Him and seek Him, Matt 13:11, 1 Cor 2:9.  Therefore, if you seek the truth and understanding He will reveal it to you, and that is a promise.  If you are secular in your reasoning, you will have difficulties to understand.  Love God and seek Him.  Ask Him to open the eyes of your heart.  Jesus loves you, do you?  Then tell Him, He loves to hear from you.

In nowhere space, (empty and void) waters were about.  On the first day, light came about.  This is not the sun or moon.  It is light from nowhere appearing. That same light will also be revealed at Jesus return, Zechariah 14:7  (Image source)

On the second day, water was separated in two by space.  A blob of water in the center surrounded by an empty space then surrounded by water, like a huge transparent shield.  At Jesus return, fresh water also will  be separated,  Zechariah 14:8 (Image Source)

On the third day, God separated the center blob of water and land appears.  Lands covered the water in some area and in other areas water was collected as seas.  Grass, herbs of all kinds and trees of all kinds came about.  Mist waters nourished the land, Gen 2:6.

On the fourth day, the stars, the sun and the moon were created.  What a contrast compared with the theory of the big bang where many argue that the big bang first came about.   Some argue that it is impossible since the universe is expanding and that the speed of light proves that by the time the light reaches earth millions of years have pass. They concluded that the universe is billions of years old. The error in that theory is that God created the stars, the sun and the moon with the law of physic all in one day.

“When I consider your heavens, the work of your fingers, the moon and the stars, which you have set in place, what is mankind that you are mindful of them, human beings that you care for them?” Psalm 8:3-4.

"The heavens tell about the glory of God.   The skies announce what his hands have made. Each new day tells more of the story, and each night reveals more and more about God’s power.  You cannot hear them say anything. They don’t make any sound we can hear. But their message goes throughout the world. Their teaching reaches the ends of the earth. The sun’s tent is set up in the heavens." Psalm 19:1-4 (ERV)

On the fifth day, all living creatures in the seas and in air came about.  On the sixth day, all living creatures on the lands came about, including a man and a woman.

How great our God is.  Believe it; all things were created for one purpose.  It was created for us.  It is created as a habitat to teach us, to train us, to prepare us for a greater purpose, to become part of God’s family.  This planet earth is our teaching ground, our university.  Have you learned something yet?  Do you understand why Jesus commands us to seek first the kingdom of God and it righteousness?  That is the great mystery of man’s existence reveal.  Now you know. Simple isn’t!

Let us go back to the mystery of the trinity reveal in a molecule of water.  Earth and all things upon it came out of water, 2 Peter 3:5.  What is so special about water?  The mass of water consists of many particles of water.  A particle of water easily combines with another particle of water.

What is so special about water?  Life without water dies.  Without water, there is no life.  All life, whether plants, animal, birds, and fish, all are composed of water.  All life mostly consists of 55% to 78% water.

Water plays an important part in the Bible.  Water is all about God, and God is all about water. Water describes the basic but important character of God, the Sustainer.  As water sustains all living things, God sustain all things, spiritual dimension and physical. God created the spiritual word to sustain spiritual life as angels, God created physical world to sustain man and all other creatures.

Let us examine one of the many symbols that water represent. As we study it significances it will help to reveal the mystery of/in the Trinity. (Image source:bible.ca)
"As the deer pants for the water brooks, so pants my soul for You, O God", Psalm 42:1.
Jesus answered and said to her, “If you knew the gift of God, and who it is who says to you, ‘Give Me a drink,’ you would have asked Him, and He would have given you living water,” John 4:10.

As I mention earlier, life without water dies.; So is our soul without God. Our soul is a living spiritual immortal being. In as much a living physical organism needs water to sustain life so do our soul. God created our soul therefore it belong to God, Eze 18:4, Mat 10:28. We need God to sustain our soul, Mat 16:26. Since Adam’s disobedience, and our sins, God ceases to nourish our souls. Inasmuch as the grass withered without water so is our soul withered without God. Depression, loneliness and empty feeling in our heart are signs that our soul thirsts for God.  So many people turn to entertainment, illicit sex and alcoholism to fulfill the void.

“I am the vine, you are the branches. He who abides in Me, and I in him, bears much fruit; for without Me you can do nothing.  If anyone does not abide in Me, he is cast out as a branch and is withered; and they gather them and throw them into the fire, and they are burned,” John 15:5-6.  The branches need sap (a watery solution that circulates through a plant's vascular system) to be healthy to produce fruits. Jesus is the vine.

Jesus is the One that asked the Father to sent the Holy Spirit to spiritually sustain us. Lamentations 1:16, John 14:16,26.  Notice that the Holy Spirit plays an important role also to sustain us, just like water.  But you are not in the flesh but in the Spirit, if indeed the Spirit of God dwells in you. Now if anyone does not have the Spirit of Christ, he is not His, Romans 8:9.  The Holy Spirit nourish us by helping us to understand God’s words, help us to remember His teaching, help us to pray to the Father, and many more.  “However, when He, the Spirit of truth, has come, He will guide you into all truth; for He will not speak on His own authority, but whatever He hears He will speak; and He will tell you things to come.  He will glorify Me, for He will take of what is Mine and declare it to you.  All things that the Father has are Mine. Therefore I said that He will take of Mine and declare it to you,” John 16:13-15.

The Holy Spirit was affix as part of our soul.  He is integrated in our soul. He does not possess the body as demons do, but rather incorporate His present into our soul. Isn’t it wonderful? We are now united with God the Father as Jesus is.  “I pray for them. I do not pray for the world but for those whom You have given Me, for they are Yours.  And all Mine are Yours, and Yours are Mine, and I am glorified in them.  Now I am no longer in the world, but these are in the world, and I come to You. Holy Father, keep through Your name those whom You have given Me, that they may be one as We are,” John 17:9-11

Jesus also prayed for all believers to be one with God the Father.  “I do not pray for these alone, but also for those who will believe in Me through their word; that they all may be one, as You, Father, are in Me, and I in You; that they also may be one in Us, that the world may believe that You sent Me. And the glory which You gave Me I have given them, that they may be one just as We are one:  I in them, and You in Me; that they may be made perfect in one, and that the world may know that You have sent Me, and have loved them as You have loved Me.  (Image source)

“Father, I desire that they also whom You gave Me may be with Me where I am, that they may behold My glory which You have given Me; for You loved Me before the foundation of the world.  O righteous Father! The world has not known You, but I have known You; and these have known that You sent Me.  And I have declared to them Your name, and will declare it, that the love with which You loved Me may be in them, and I in them,” John 17:20-26.

“that the world may believe that You sent Me.”  There is an event call the ‘rapture’ where Jesus will return for His bride, the church. These are those whom the Spirit dwells in. They will be taken away, disappear in tin air, leaving behind only their clothes.  It will be a testimony to all nations that Jesus spoke the truth.

God the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit are One.  They represent a particle of water, H²O.  The chemical formula for water is H²O, and this composition explains the mystery of the Trinity. It tells you that there are 2 hydrogen atoms and 1 oxygen atom. That means there are 3 atoms in all.  Interesting isn’t’ it. The Father symbolizes the oxygen, the Son and the Holy Spirit symbolize hydrogen, and therefore a molecule of water symbolizes the Trinity.

God created the spiritual dimension for angel. God created the planet earth and the physical universe for us.  He is the Creator; hence, He is beyond the physical and the spiritual. To be seen in both world, He made Himself know as 'The Word' in the spiritual world and as 'Jesus' in the physical world, John 1:1-14. The Holy Spirit is God's present in all dimensions. He sustains all things, the source of power, a helper, and the Will of God visible in both spiritual world and physical world, Acts 13:36, Romans 8:27, Romans 12:2.

So the reason why the Trinity forms a unit of One is because the Father (oxygen) have a strong tendency to attract.  Our souls are invited to be part of the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit (hydrogen), John 3:5. I am reminding you that this is an analogy.  It is God the Father that keeps the unit together.  That is why Jesus asks the Father to bring us at one with them. He went on to say, “This is why I told you that no one can come to me unless the Father has enabled them,” John 6:65. “I give them eternal life, and they shall never perish; no one will snatch them out of my hand,” John 10:28. We are bonded for eternity to God the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit.  The Holy Spirit already dwells with those who believe. We are yet to see the spiritual transformation at Jesus return.

In conclusion

God created us.  We are immortal soul. We have been incorporated into a physical body within the physical creation to make a decision and to learn to grow in righteousness, to become more like Jesus.  Although, it is God the Father that makes the calls, He gave us free will to choose.  The choice is to be at one with Him for eternity or separate from Him for eternity in the darkness of hell and will forever be alienated from God. God desire is for no one to perish.  “For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life,” John 3:16.

And the Spirit and the Bride say, “Come!”

And let him who hears say, “Come!”

And let him who thirsts come.
Whoever desires, let him take the water of life freely,
